Welcome to the department of Theology and Religious Studies. The mission of the department is to provide quality education for pastors, teachers, evangelists, administrators and other related professional careers for service in the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the society at large. The department strives to instill a life-long personal quest for research and study in biblical, theological and religious fields for individual growth and continual excellence in service to God and mankind
The department offers two major programs Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Religion. The Bachelor of Arts Theology program is offered in three ways; the regular, in-service and the blended online modes. The department has a recognized track record of training ministers, and church leaders, our graduates have faithfully served nationally, across Africa and across the globe. Our faculty have many years of practical experience as pastors, missionaries, and are scholar-teachers in their various fields. Our curriculum focuses on sound biblical interpretation, sound doctrinal training, practical ministerial orientation and spirituality.
