Aviation Management graduates qualify to be employed as pilots, technical and operations managers in not only the aviation industry but also in all other sectors of the Kenyan economy that requires their expertise and beyond. They can work as Airport Operations Managers, Airline Managers, Aviation Safety Inspectors, and Air Traffic Controllers. They can also explore roles in Aviation Security, Airport Planning and Development, or Aviation Consulting, providing expertise to airlines, airports, and other aviation-related organizations. Actively engaged in community, youth mentoring and development programmes, significantly promoting Kenya as a preferred aviation hub and destination.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES 

Automotive Technology graduates have diverse career opportunities in both traditional and emerging sectors. They can work as Automotive Technicians or Mechanics in repair/ service shops and dealerships, or as Automotive Engineers, designing and developing vehicles and systems. Serve as Automotive Consultants, Diagnostic Specialists, Service Advisors or Assessors, Inventory Controllers, Technical Advisers, Parts Managers, Fleet Management Specialists. Become Automotive Sales Representatives, Autobody Assemblers, Marketing Managers, Technical Trainers, or Automotive Journalists, Instructors or Entrepreneurs. Graduates can also find opportunities in emerging fields like Electric Vehicle Technology, Autonomous Vehicles, or Renewable Energy Vehicles, contributing to the automotive industry’s innovation.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS DIRECT ENTRY

In addition to the general admission requirements into the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton; applicants for this
programme, must have:
a) A minimum Grade of C+ in English, Mathematics, and Physics/Physical Science at KCSE or the equivalent.
b) A minimum Grade of C in any two of the following subjects: Geography, Chemistry, Aviation Technology and Kiswahili/French/German at KCSE or the equivalent.
c) A Medical Class 1 Health Certificate from an approved Aviation Medical Examiner.
d) Undergone and passed an aptitude evaluation test on the ground and in the air.
e) A valid certificate of good conduct obtained from the Kenya Police Service.
f) A Certificate of Proficiency in the English Language.
g) A valid entry Visa for foreign applicants.

3.1. Upgrader  (Aviation Management)
The applicants must show evidence of at least three (3) years aviation, or related experience and must have obtained a mean grade of C in KCSE. Preference under this category will be given to holders of a recognized:
a) Private Pilot License (PPL), Commercial Pilot License (CPL) from the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority or the equivalent.
b) A diploma in Aviation Technology or Management or the equivalent.
