Welcome to UEAB
Welcome to the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton (UEAB), your gateway to wholistic Christian Education. UEAB, a private chartered Seventh-day Adventist institution of higher learning, is also a member of the worldwide family of Adventist education institutions. The main campus is located at Baraton, Nandi County, Rift Valley Province-approximately 50 kilometers from Eldoret or 35 kilometres from Eldoret International Airport.
A Diverse Community

Though a private university, UEAB admission is not limited to Adventist applicants. Subject to availability of space, any student meeting the academic and character requirements of the university, and expresses willingness to co-operate with the university policies, and is comfortable with its religious, social and cultural atmosphere may be admitted.
A Christian Atmosphere

UEAB, as a Seventh-day Adventist christian institution of higher learning, has a church that was initiated and targets provision of wholesome spiritual nourishment to its students and community through its varied programs and activities. Worship, therefore, is an intergral part of student life. Every student is expected to contribute to and maintain such an atmosphere.
Health Services

Baraton Jeremic is the University's Medical Center which provides basic health care to students and the UEAB community. It is operated under a resident doctor, clinical officer and nurses. Students entering the University for the first time will be required to take medical examination by the doctor chosen by the University. The cost of this medical examination will be charged to the student’s account.
