Message from the Chair

Welcome to the Department of Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics at University of Eastern Africa, Baraton. I hope you will find our website helpful and informative.  Our department’s main goal is to help students excel in the fields of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Statistics.  We have qualified faculty members in different areas in Pure and Applied Mathematics, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry Bio-Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Applied Physics, and Applied Statistics. It offers courses in Bridging Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics as well as service teaching in all the Schools and Institutes of the University.

Whether you are taking one course as a university requirement or pursuing a degree in Mathematics, or Chemistry or Physics, our faculty’s dedication to upholding high teaching standards will provide you with a rich, knowledge-filled experience. The department is committed to advancing the vision and mission of the university.

These programs give high achieving students the professional and unique UEAB experience to excel wherever they will find themselves. Most of our students are pursuing Masters and Doctor of Philosophy scholarships in universities overseas. Further to, the department’s long tradition on seeking to serve God and Man ensures that the learner’s focus is not only on the temporal, but for life hereafter.
