Story of the Week

UEAB gave me a chance to re-discover myself and a new lease of life. Unlike today when Universities are all over the Country, UEAB was the only private University in Kenya. If one missed a chance to join Kenyatta, Nairobi or Moi, that was it.
Buildings were cowshed conversions, but the quality of teaching was perfect.
I also got more than my bargain: work programme-cleaning Mens' dormitory corridors, ADRA Community work etc. That made me streetwise.
Spiritually, we were well looked after. UEAB is a real place for physical, mental, spiritual and social development.
Work programme, prepared me for life in the UK. Hard, but went to the bank with a smile.
After many years of hard work, I was able to settle down in my dream career-law and specialising in Immigration Representation and Court Advocacy, but still working hard.
