A student will normally graduate either under the Bulletin in force when he/she first entered the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton, or the subsequent Bulletin if the student chooses it. A student must meet all the requirements of the Bulletin in force or the subsequent Bulletin he/she chooses. However, if there are changes in the course code, course credit hours, and graduation requirements, the student must follow the current bulletin.
When the course requires a passing grade which was not stipulated in the student's governing bulletin, the requirement in the current bulletin must be adhered to. Similarly, if a course appearing in the previous student's bulletin has been deleted, the student should follow the requirement as stipulated in the current bulletin. If, as a result of some changes made, a student lacks the stipulated minimum credit hours for graduation, the student must take the extra hours from the relevant area(s) of his/her choice, in consultation with the academic advisors.
