The normal course load is 16-18 credit hours for a 16-week regular semester and 9 credit hours for the inter-semester session.
Overload
Criteria for Overload;
1. Up to 20 credits during regular semesters and 11 credits during inter-semester session if Cumulative GPA is at least 3.00.
2. Up to 21 credits during regular semesters and 12 credits during inter-semester session if Cumulative GPA is at least 3.50. Note: Overload for students who meet criteria 1 or 2 is automatically approved by the online system. Exceptions require the approval of the School Dean.
3. Seniors who have completed 100 hours and have a GPA of 2.67 may be allowed to take up to 22 credits in a regular semester or 12 credits on an inter-semester if the remaining credits do not exceed 44 credits.
4. Credit hours for fieldwork courses which are taken before or after each semester can be applied to the subsequent semester without invoking student's overload requirement.
