The Main Speaker

Our Main Speaker for the 30th Graduation ceremony was Dr. James Mwangi,   the Chairman of Equity Group Foundation, which was established to create the financial and operational infrastructure for social programs aimed at low-income populations. EGF is the focal point for partnerships with Equity Bank on programs aimed at low-income populations. Its goal is to transform the socioeconomic status of people in Africa. 

Under his leadership, Equity Bank has become the biggest bank in East and Central Africa, with over 8 million bank accounts and growing accounting for over 50% of all bank accounts in Kenya. Equity Bank has a strong footprint in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Rwanda and Tanzania. It is synonymous with social and economic empowerment through its inclusive business model that has focused on accessibility, affordability & convenience.
