The Deputy Vice Chancellor Professor Korso Gude closes the 4th Annual Baraton International Interdisciplinary Research Conference of July 11-13 2017.

 

 

It was some three days of intense intellectual exchange of ideas where close to seventy research papers in diverse disciplines of education, health and social sciences were presented by no less than fifty scholars.

Closing the ceremony on behalf of the Vice Chancellor Professor Phillip Maiyo, Professor Korso  Gude the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics, at UEAB, prayed for the presenters own transformation  before  “Transforming the Future through Research and Innovation Solutions”, the theme of the Conference. This is all about the presenters appreciating and adopting the changes so advocated. The Director of Graduate School and Research Professor Elizabeth Role, who was the principal co-ordinator of the event, spared no effort in underscoring to the participants the need for quality research and the significance of early preparedness for such significant professional conferences the next of which will be held in April 2018 at the University.

The participants came from Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda representing the following universities: Moi, University of Eldoret, Maseno and Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, University of Eastern Africa Baraton and Busoga University of Uganda.
